FORT MYERS, Fla – The reigning Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament Champions will begin their conference title defense on Saturday when they welcome Jacksonville for a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m. followed by a single game on Sunday at 1 p.m.

The Eagles (13-18) are currently on their longest win streak of the season with five wins over the weekend. FGCU was picked to finish first in the ASUN preseason poll, in a three-way tie with UNF and EKU, receiving four first place votes.
The Dolphins (13-10) have played most of their games in Jacksonville at either their ballpark or UNF's ballpark and are 1-1 in road games. FGCU is 11-7 in home games.

Allison Sparkman who has posted a 2.10 ERA and 1.21 WHIP and four shutouts. Sparkman is currently on a 12.1 scoreless innings streak.
