LAHAINA, Hi. - The Florida Gulf Coast University men's golf team closed out their fall schedule by placing fourth at the Ka'anapali Classic by OUTRIGGER.
Nolan Harper led the way for the Eagles with an incredible outing, shooting 197 (-16) to finish in fourth. His total score of 197 and second-round score of 63 both tied program records.

The Florida Gulf Coast University men's golf team delivered another strong showing, highlighted by
Nolan Harper's stellar fourth-place finish at 16-under-par (197). Harper's impressive performance was fueled by rounds of 70, 63, and 64 with his second-round 63 tying the program's all-time single-round record, matching teammate
Brett Moore. His score of 197 also lands him in a tie with former Eagle and current PGA Tour member Frankie Capan III for the lowest 54 hole total in program history. Harper tallied nine birdies in round two and seven in round three, finishing with 19 total birdies, tied for fifth most in the field.
Brett Moore tied for 25th at 8-under (205), posting rounds of 65, 67, and 73. Moore's seven birdies in round two contributed to his 18 total birdies, tied for eighth best in the tournament.
Sacha Ruiz continued his steady play, tying for 37th at 5-under (208) with rounds of 71, 69, and 68. Ruiz caught fire over the final two days, recording five birdies in round two and six in round three. Joining him at 5-under was
Sebastian Gamboa, who carded rounds of 69, 71, and 68, highlighted by six birdies in the final round.
Tom Scullion tied for 45th at 4-under (209) after rounds of 69, 68, and 72. Scullion's eight birdies in round one and an eagle on hole nine in round three helped him finish with 15 total birdies, tied for 17th in the field.
Competing as individuals, Christian Figueredo tied for 37th at 5-under (208) with rounds of 69, 69, and 70, while Brody Stevenson tied for 83rd at 3-over (216) after rounds of 68, 71, and 77, highlighted by back-to-back eagles on hole six in the first two rounds. Sam Baker rounded out the Eagles' roster, finishing tied for 102nd at 9-over (222).
As a team, the Eagles totaled 77 birdies, the second most in the tournament.
