The Eagles will also visit Canada to compete in the inaugural Atlantic Slam.
"Scheduling is really difficult for us, but coach Lyles did a great job finishing up our schedule," Smesko said. "We will play against a lot of really good teams this season. Our players are excited."

The first holiday tournament is the FGCU Homewood Suites Classic Nov. 29-30, consisting of Cal Baptist, Chattanooga and Penn that will begin the day after Thanksgiving. Three of the four of the teams earned an automatic bid into last year's NCAA Tournament field.
Chattanooga went 28-5 a season ago and won the Southern Conference Tournament title for a 14-overall seed. California Baptist put together a 28-4 mark for a 15-seed in the Albany 2 Region of the bracket. The Eagles earned another 12 seed, taking fifth-seeded Oklahoma to the wire. FGCU is scheduled to play Cal Baptist on Friday and then Chattanooga on Saturday. Both games tip off at 4 p.m. Two games will be played per day, a neutral site matchup followed by FGCU's opponent.
Just before Christmas, the FGCU Classic will see the likes of East Tennessee State, IUPUI and North Carolina A&T visit the City of Palms Dec. 20-21. The Eagles will open with NC A&T on Friday at 4 p.m., followed by ETSU on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. A&T reached the WNIT Super 16 last year. Once again, two games will be played per day.
FGCU officially tips off the 2024-25 season Tuesday, Nov. 5 on the road at Davidson before its home opener versus NJIT Sunday, Nov. 17 at 1 p.m. FGCU has won 32 straight games at home, the third-longest active home winning streak in the nation.
The Eagles then travel north for the inaugural Atlantic Slam in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. The Eagles will play three games on foreign soil, Nov. 22-24. The Atlantic Slam will provide FGCU with resume opportunities against Cincinnati, Georgetown and Ole Miss. Cincinnati reached the second round of the WNIT a season ago.
The Green and Blue returns home from Canada for eight consecutive home games, spanning from Nov. 29 with the opening game of the FGCU Homewood Suites Classic against Cal Baptist to two games into Atlantic Sun Conference play in early January. The Eagles will be home for more than a month and will also host Ave Maria and Montana State in between the two holiday tournaments, Ave Maria on Dec. 8 and Montana State for a Dec. 16 matchup at the nest.
