Women's tennis set for two home conference matches

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast University's women's tennis team will host two Atlantic Sun Conference matches in a row at the FGCU Tennis Complex.

The Eagles will first take on the University of North Florida (8-7, 3-1 ASUN) Thursday at 5 p.m. Two days later, the Green & Blue (8-8, 3-2 ASUN) will battle Kennesaw State University Saturday at 9 a.m.

The Eagles are coming off a 6-1 defeat at Austin Peay Sunday, while the Ospreys won 4-3 against North Alabama on the same day. KSU (8-4, 4-0 ASUN) defeated Lipscomb 4-3 also on Sunday.

This will be the 21st time the Eagles face UNF and the Ospreys lead the series 19-2 while FGCU has a 16-2 advantage against the Owls.
