FORT MYERS, Fla. - FGCU softball will head north to Tampa for the USF Tournament on Sunday and Monday. On Sunday, the Green and Blue will face Georgia Southern at 12 p.m. and Villanova at 5 p.m. followed with Central Michigan at 12 p.m. on Monday.
This marks the start of 12 games in 10 days for the Eagles leading up to the start of conference play.
The Green and Blue head up to Tampa having won eight of their last 10 games, outscoring opponents by a score of 37-14.
Pitching has been stellar for FGCU.
Angelina Bonilla and
Allison Sparkman both boast sub-1 ERAs at 0.98 and 0.89, respectively. Sparkman is currently on a 17-inning scoreless streak.
After the USF Tournament, the Green and Blue will host Western Michigan and Sacred Heart for a split double header.
