FORT MYERS, Fla. - Florida Gulf Coast University softball will host No. 10 Florida at the FGCU Softball Complex on Wednesday.
FGCU is coming off the opening of ASUN play where they swept Queens University of Charlotte without allowing a run. The Eagles are currently on a 24.1 scoreless inning streak, the second longest in the Division One era.
Angelina Bonilla threw a no-hitter against Queens on Saturday, the sixth in program history, and the first time in FGCU's Division One history that a single pitcher threw a no-hitter in a full, seven inning game.
Allison Sparkman followed Bonilla in the doubleheader against Queens, hurling a one-hitter.
Following this game, the Eagles travel to Jacksonville, Fla. to face Jacksonville.
