Maddie Antenucci provided a career-high 25 points Saturday to propel Florida Gulf Coast University women's basketball past Stetson 66-51 in DeLand, Florida.
"Very good win for us," head coach Karl Smesko said. "After a slow start, we really locked in defensively. Maddie and Brylee Bartram had very good games."
Antenucci scored 11 of her 25 points in the third quarter alone, connecting from deep three times in the period. Antenucci surpassed her previous career high of 20 points, which was set earlier this season versus Delaware.
