Dave Tollett (Coach of the Year)
599-356-3 career record
199-108 career record in ASUN regular season
FGCU's 17th-year head coach, who is on the brink of achieving his 600th career win, led the Eagles to the 2019 ASUN regular season championship. It was the fifth regular season title in program history and the 16 regular season conference wins mark the most since the 2014 season. Tollett has captured the award in five of the last 12 seasons. The only program with more coach of the year selections is Stetson (seven). He now ties former Hatter's coach Pete Dunn for the most coach of the year honors in ASUN history and his win percentage (.627) ranks 27th among Active Division-I Coaches.
Mason Studstill (First Team All-Conference)
Overall: 2.31 ERA, 5-2 record, 81.2 IP, .164 b/avg
ASUN: 3.00 ERA, 2-2 record, 45 IP, .183 b/avg
Studstill (Titusville, FL/Rockledge HS/Eastern Florida State), a new addition to the Eagles' roster this year, has had a record-breaking season with the Green and Blue. His opponent batting average (.164) is the lowest posted in a single season in FGCU history and his 91 strikeouts on the season tie for the fourth-most by an Eagle arm. Studstill allows an average of 5.18 hits per nine innings, good for eighth in the national standings. He has finished three different games this season with double-digit Ks and is currently on the watch list for the College Baseball Foundation's Pitcher of the Year.
Hunter McGarry (Second Team All-Conference)
Overall: 2.57 ERA, 6-1 record, 42 IP, .207 b/avg
ASUN: 3.47 ERA, 4-1 record, 23.1 IP, .253 b/avg
In his debut campaign with the Green and Blue,
McGarry (Bradenton, FL/Bradenton Christian School/State College of Florida) has established himself as one of the best closers in program history. He leads the pitching staff with 25 appearances this year and has finished a record-breaking 24 games. With nine saves this season, he ties for second on the single season record list and ties for fifth on the career records list. During a doubleheader against Jacksonville (April 20), he became the second-ever pitcher in FGCU history to pick up two saves in one day and his opponent batting average is the sixth-lowest in a single season.
Alex Brait (Second Team All-Conference)
Overall: .328/.424/.393
ASUN: .277/.362/.355
Brait (Viera, FL/Viera HS) is one of two players that has started all 53 games for the Green and Blue this season, primarily doing so behind the dish. He leads the conference with 75 hits and is a perfect 10-10 on stolen bases this season. He has caught 24 runners stealing throughout his career, including 11 this season, which is good for fifth all-time in the Eagle record book. He leads the team this season with 22 multi-hit games and is currently on a 10-game hitting streak. Brait pushed the tying run across and later came around as the final run to cap off the largest comeback in school history in the 10-9 victory over Lipscomb (April 6). This is the second all-conference honor for Brait, who was a first team selection last season.
Keith Stevens (Second Team All-Conference, All-Academic Team)
Overall: .345/.458/.453
ASUN: .411/.548/.500
Stevens (Miami, FL/Miami Killian HS/Hillsborough CC) has been red hot for the Eagles in conference play. His .411 batting average in conference play leads the league and his overall batting average checks in at second. The senior has started every game that he has played in this season after missing a few due to injury. He was named ASUN Player of the Week on May 13 for his efforts during the series against NJIT when he batted .500 and recorded five of the team's 15 total RBIs. The outfielder has 18 multi-hit games this season and has reached base safely in all but four games that he has played in. With a 3.68 GPA in economics, Stevens earned a spot on the All-Academic team. He was recently named FGCU Scholar-Athlete of the month.
Jay Hayes (Second Team All-Conference)
Overall: .319/.568/.451
ASUN: .284/.481/.406
This is the first accolade for
Hayes (Altamonte Springs, FL/Lyman HS), who has started in every game that he has appeared in this season. His on-base percentage ranks at the top of the ASUN and he leads the conference with 16 doubles. He tied the FGCU single-game record after cranking out two home runs in the season-opener against Bethune-Cookman (Feb. 16) and finished that game with seven RBIs, the eighth-most in a single game. Hayes and junior teammate
Elijah Eusebio (Miami, FL/Coral Gables HS) set a school record when they each cranked out a grand slam during the 20-3 victory over Towson (March 31). At one point, he had a streak of reaching base safely in 27 games, the longest of any Eagle this season.
Joe Kinker (All-Freshmen Team)
Kinker (Northport, FL/Venice HS) was FGCU's only player to be unanimously selected to a postseason team. He has appeared in every game for FGCU this season and started all but one as a walk-on. The freshman started off his debut campaign as one of the biggest offensive threats in the country, batting over .400 through the opening 28 games of the season. His on-base percentage is third in the league in his slugging percentage leads all ASUN freshmen. Kinker hit a game-winning grand slam against Quinnipiac (March 9) and a walk-off homer in the bottom of the 11th inning against Rutgers (March 15), boosting him towards ASUN Player of the Week honors.
Kohl Gilmore (All-Academic Team)
Overall: .278/.409/.387
ASUN: .303/.474/.407
Gilmore (Fort Pierce, FL/John Carroll HS/Indian River) has started all but one game for FGCU this season, 36 of which have been at first base. The junior has 14 extra-base hits, including nine doubles, one triple and four home runs. He drove in a career-high six RBIs, the 10th-most in a single game in FGCU history, during the win over Siena. He is tied for the team lead with 12 multi-RBI games and at one point owned a streak of reaching base safely in 14 consecutive games. Recently selected "Mr. FGCU" by his fellow FGCU student-athletes, he was recognized at the annual Athletics Academics Honors Luncheon in February for his cumulative 3.64 GPA in communications. He is also a two-time FGCU Male Scholar-Athlete of the Month. This is the second postseason honor for Gilmore, who was a second team all-conference selection last season.

5X CHAMPS
The 2017 season was a magical one for the Green and Blue that ended in the program's first Division I NCAA Championship tournament berth. The Eagles ended the year 43-20, which included a midweek sweep over No. 2 Florida, single wins over No. 1 Florida State, Miami, and a three-game sweep at UNC Wilmington. The wins over Miami, FSU, and UF marked the first time FGCU defeated all three programs in the same season.
Reaching as high as No. 9 in the polls, the highest of any program at FGCU, the Eagles struggled in April but bounced back to finish third in the ASUN. During the ASUN Championship, FGCU won four games in a span of 29 hours for their first tournament crown.
The Green and Blue earned the No. 2 seed in the Chapel Hill Regional, defeating Michigan 10-6 before losses to Davidson and North Carolina ended their season. The tournament title added to FGCU's four regular season crowns.
