ASUN CHAMPIONSHIP HISTORY
Overall, FGCU is 17-2 (.895) all-time in ASUN tournament play, which is the best winning percentage among all conference teams - topping Stetson (28-27, .509) and Jacksonville (15-13, .536). No other program has won more than five games in tournament play.

Team - Record (Tournament Appearances)
FGCU - 17-2 (7)
Stetson - 28-27 (31)
Jacksonville - 15-13 (15)
Lipscomb - 5-9 (11)
North Florida - 4-7 (8)
USC Upstate - 2-7 (7)

NJIT - 0-3 (3)

The No. 1 seed is 61-14 (.813) all-time in ASUN tournament history, while the No. 4 seed is 24-30 (.444) all-time. Furthermore, the top seed has advanced to the championship game in 25 of 32 ASUN Championships all-time.

The tournament's No. 1 seed has advanced to the championship game in each of the past six seasons. The last time it didn't happen was in the 2010-2011 when No. 2 Stetson took down No. 5 Jacksonville. Interestingly, that was the last year prior to FGCU gaining Division-I postseason eligibility. This will be the second ASUN Championship matchup all-time between FGCU and Lipscomb, including a 92-53 win in the quarterfinals on March 11, 2014.

Since gaining Division-I postseason eligibility in 2011-12, FGCU has won four of the six ASUN Championship titles (2011-12, 2013-14, 2014-15, 2016-17). In the lone two years they didn't win, they still advanced to the championship game (2012-13 and 2015-16). With a championship game victory this year, the Eagles would hold the all-time ASUN record for most postseason tournament titles, breaking a tie with Stetson who won in 1988-89, 2004-05, 2010-11 and 2012-13.

2011-12: Defeated Stetson 67-39 to win the ASUN Championship
2012-13: Lost to Stetson in the finals
2013-14: Defeated Stetson 72-70 in OT to win the ASUN Championship
2014-15: Defeated Northern Kentucky 60-43 to win the ASUN Championship
2015-16: Lost to Jacksonville in the finals
2016-17: Defeated Stetson 77-70 to win the ASUN Championship

FGCU is one of four active ASUN members to win the ASUN tournament along with Stetson (1988-89, 2004-05, 2010-11, 2012-13), Jacksonville (2015-16) and Lipscomb (2003-04).

SERIES HISTORY
FGCU is 22-0 all-time against Lipscomb, including a pair of wins this year. On Jan. 22, five players scored between 10 and 12 points to lead the Green and Blue to a 68-54 win on the road. Tytionia Adderly and China Dow each produced double-doubles with 10 rebounds apiece. Then, on Feb. 17, the Eagles made 20-for-48 from 3-point range while Jessica Cattani poured in a game-high 20 points along with eight rebounds and three assists. She finished 6-for-10 from 3-point range to tie a career-high for made 3-point field goals in a game.

DOW JOINS GRADINJAN
China Dow, a redshirt senior who started her career at Middle Tennessee, has not only scored 657 points in the Green and Blue, but she has 1,001 points in her NCAA career after producing four points in the quarterfinal win over NJIT. She joins Taylor Gradinjan as one of two 1,000 point club members on this year's team. She is averaging a career-high 11.1 points per game this year and eclipsed 500 career rebounds (520) four games ago.

HOME SUCCESS
FGCU is 245-18 all-time in games at Alico Arena dating back to the program's inception in 2002-03. Among those, the Eagles are 168-12 all-time in Division-I era contests and 90-2 in ASUN regular season games. In ASUN tournament games, the Green and Blue have recorded 11 wins in 12 contests.

This year, FGCU (16-0) is just one of three Division-I schools in the country to win at least 15 games on its home court while also being undefeated - joining Baylor and Mississippi State.

MEN'S & WOMEN'S BASKETBALL SUCCESS
FGCU was one of only seven schools in the country entering this season which have had its men's and women's teams win at least 20 games in five-straight years, joining Duke, Louisville, Kentucky, Baylor, BYU and Saint Mary's.

Among those teams looking to make it six-straight seasons, here are the 2017-18 men's and women's basketball records for each school (entering games on March 6):

FGCU: 28-4 (w); 23-11 (m)
Duke: 22-8 (w); 25-6 (m)
Louisville: 32-2 (w); 19-12 (m)
Kentucky: 15-17 (w); 21-10 (m)
Baylor: 31-1 (w); 18-13 (m)
Saint Mary's: 20-10 (w); 28-5 (m)
BYU: 16-14 (w); 24-9 (m)

Additionally, with both the men's and women's teams winning at least 26 games last season, FGCU was one of only three non-Power 5 schools in the nation to boast that claim along with Gonzaga and Bucknell. In total, only nine schools had both its men's and women's basketball teams record at least 26 victories a year ago: Duke, Notre Dame, Michigan, South Carolina, Baylor and Florida State.

300 WINS AS DIVISION-I PROGRAM
After the program began in 2002-03 as an NAIA school, FGCU transitioned into a Division-II school and then became Division-I in 2007-08. Postseason eligibility began in 2011-12, and head coach Karl Smesko has been there for every season. In fact, during his time at FGCU, the program has compiled 15 seasons with 20 + wins, 12 seasons with 25 + wins and 4 seasons with 30 + wins. In fact, the program has recorded at least 25 wins in eight straight seasons and 20 or more in 13 consecutive years. Since becoming a Division-I program, the Eagles have not won fewer than 22 games, and they have never recorded a season with double digit losses in the program's entire history.

GREEN AND BLUE NOTES
FGCU will enter Wednesday's semifinal having won eight straight, 19 of the past 20 and 23 of the past 25 games. In fact, the current winning streak is tied for the 15th longest in the nation.

In the 74-60 win over Stetson on the road to end the regular season, FGCU produced its 400th straight game with at least one made 3-point field goal. They have also made at least one 3-pointer in all but one game in the program's history, and the only time they didn't was on Feb. 21, 2006 in a 72-59 win over Lynn University in which the Eagles went 0-for-11 from 3-point range.

The FGCU women's basketball program produced eight straight seasons with at least 25 wins. They join UConn (31-0), Baylor (31-1) and Notre Dame (29-3) as one of only four schools to accomplish the feat thus far, while Stanford (22-10) and James Madison (20-9) also have a chance to join them.

In fact, with 28 wins, FGCU is tied for the ninth most in the nation with Green Bay. The teams ahead of them include: Mississippi State (32), Louisville (32), UConn (31), Baylor (31), Belmont (31), Oregon (30) and Mercer (30).

This year's success has been, in large part, due to what is the most prolific 3-point shooting team in ASUN and program history. FGCU has made 380 3-pointers over 32 games this year, which is the most in ASUN and program history. Two games ago, they passed the 2013-14 team (347) and the 2010-11 team (350) for second place. Then, they broke the record in the quarterfinal win over NJIT. The 2015-16 team previously held the top spot with 372, but they did so in 39 games.

3-Point Field Goals Made In A Single Season
1. 380 (32 games) - 2017-18
2. 372 (39 games) - 2015-16
3. 350 (32 games) - 2010-11
4. 347 (34 games) - 2013-14
5. 342 (32 games) - 2011-12
6. 338 (35 games) - 2016-17
6. 338 (34 games) - 2006-07
8. 327 (34 games) - 2014-15
9. 319 (34 games) - 2012-13
10. 317 (31 games) - 2009-10

In fact, the all-time NCAA record for most in a season is 424, set in 2014-15 by Sacramento State. The Hornets also hold the record for most 3-point field goals per game at 12.5, which they set in 2014-15 and 2015-16. FGCU, though, is averaging a program record 11.9 3-point field goals per game, which is currently tied for the best in the nation with DePaul. Moreover, the 11.9 average is tied for the fourth best single season in NCAA Division-I history.

In terms of single season records, Tytionia Adderly surpassed Sarah Hansen (256, 2012-13) for the most rebounds in a single season by any player in the program's Division-I era (2007-present) in the road win over Stetson. The sophomore forward, who had 255 as a freshman over 35 games, already has 277 over 30 this year. She also has the third most rebounds in a single season overall (including the non-Division-I era) behind Robyn Swain (320 in 2002-03 and 2003-04).

In addition to her season total, Adderly (Jupiter, Fla./Cardinal Newman HS) has double digit rebound totals in six of the past seven and eight of the past 10 games. She has recorded nine career double-doubles and 27 games with double-digit rebounds. In the quarterfinal win over NJIT, she finished just one point shy of a double-double (9 points, 13 rebounds).

FGCU received 25 votes in this week's USA Today Coaches Poll, which is the 26th most in the nation and just three shy of No. 25 Belmont. Thus, with a tournament championship this week, the Eagles have a decent chance to move back into the top-25. Three weeks ago, the Eagles were ranked 25th, marking the first time the program had been ranked in one of the two major polls since March 2015.

Gradinjan (Cudahy, Wis./Cudahy HS), who has played in 144 career games and recently became the program's all-time leader by breaking a tie with Jaime Gluesing (140, 2012-16), is the current NCAA leader among active players in games played - one ahead of UConn's Gabby Williams. She also has the second most starts of all-time in program history with 122 behind Sarah Hansen (131, 2009-14).

In addition to those records, Gradinjan (294-for-790) is on the verge of moving into sole possession of second place in both 3-point field goals made and attempted. She is currently tied for second with Whitney Knight (294-for-791, 2011-16) in made 3-point field goals and one behind her in attempts. Kelsey Jacobson (330-for-846, 2008-12) is first in both categories. In terms of total field goals, Gradinjan is 416-for-1036 in her career. She surpassed Stephanie Haas (413, 2012-16) for fifth place all-time in made field goals, and she is 38 shy of Kaneisha Atwater (1,073, 2013-16) for the fourth most attempts.

Furthermore, Gradinjan has now played 3,657 minutes, but she is 211 away from passing Sarah Hansen (3,877, 2009-14) for the all-time lead.

In terms of career rebounds, Gradinjan (483) is eighth all-time and has some company within the top-10 on the current roster in Adderly, who is up to 532 (6th place) after 13 more against NJIT. In fact, Adderly remains on pace to become the program's first to 1,000 career rebounds. Sarah Hansen (887, 2009-14) is the all-time leader.

Adderly also has 223 career offensive rebounds, which is fourth all-time behind Robyn Swain (236, 2002-04), Adrianne McNally (240, 2006-10) and Sarah Hansen (329, 2009-14). In NCAA play, she is ranked 13th in offensive rebounds per game.

Cattani (Muskego, Wis./Muskego HS), who led all ASUN players in 3-point field goal percentage at 44.4 percent (48-for-108), has made six 3-pointers in two of the past six games. Her 48 made 3-point field goals is eighth among all ASUN players, and she has pushed her career total to 107, which is nine shy of passing Megan Jones (115, 2002-05) and moving into the top 10 all-time in career 3-point field goals made in program history.

Rosemarie Julien has at least 15 points in five straight games and has tallied double digits in 24 of 32 games this year. She tied her season-high with 25 points against Stetson in the regular season finale, and in just 67 career games since transferring from Chipola College, Julien (Port. St. Lucie, Fla./Treasure Coast HS) has scored 824 points, which gives her the 13th most career points in program history. She surpassed Eglah Griffin (813, 2009-12) with her 16 points against NJIT in the quarterfinal and is 16 points shy of passing Chelsea Lyles (839, 2008-10) for 12th.

In the regular season finale over Stetson, Julien moved into the top 10 for most in program history, and she has the eighth best career field goal percentage (.461, 285-for-618) - just one spot behind China Dow (Louisville, Ky./Christian Academy of Louisville), who is 236-for-504 (.468). Also, she sits sixth all-time in career scoring average at 12.1 PPG - 0.1 behind Kaneisha Atwater's 12.4 per contest from 2013-16.

Nasrin Ulel (Murrietta, Calif./Murrietta HS) has made at least one 3-pointer in the past six games and scored 10 or more points in five of those, including four straight. She has 15 games of double digit points this year.

FGCU has compiled a 28-0 record this year when forcing at least 15 turnovers.

SCOUTING LIPSCOMB
Lipscomb (12-18) features the ASUN player of the year Loren Cagle, and the Bisons enter the game having made at least 10 3-pointers in three straight, including a season-high 16 in the quarterfinal win over USC Upstate. In fact, that total tied FGCU's ASUN Championship single game tournament record set on March 6, 2015 in a quarterfinal against North Florida.

In regard to the quarterfinal win, the Bisons won by 42 points and broke the ASUN Championship tournament record for largest margin of victory. It also represented Lipscomb's first tournament win since 2008 - thus making this the program's first semifinal appearance since then.

Cagle became the first player in the history of the program to win player of the year in the ASUN. In just about 36 minutes per game, she averaged 17.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2.1 steals in the regular season. Against USC Upstate, she had 20 points, 10 assists, six rebounds and four steals in 32 minutes. Emily Kmec, a member of the ASUN's All-Freshmen team, finished second in scoring against Upstate with 18 points.

In terms of Cagle, she is the sixth player in the history of the program to reach 1,000 points and the first to reach 500 assists. She is the seventh player in ASUN history to reach both milestones, and she became the first Lipscomb women's basketball player since 2005 to be named First Team All-ASUN.

FINAL ASUN TEAM LEADERS
As a team, FGCU led the ASUN in assist/turnover ratio (1.36), assists (509), assists per game (16.4), fewest turnovers (373), field goal percentage (.437), scoring margin (18.3), scoring offense (77.7), steals (293), steals per game (9.5), 3-point field goals attempted (1,032), 3-point field goals made (366), 3-point field goals per game (11.8), 3-point field goal percentage (35.5), turnover margin (7.16) turnovers forced (19.19), fewest turnovers per game (12.0) and win-loss percentage (87.1).

COACH SMESKO
FGCU head coach Karl Smesko rallied the 2016-17 Eagles to their seventh-straight 25-win campaign, which culminated in the team's fourth NCAA tournament appearance in six seasons of eligibility. The seven-time ASUN Coach of the Year was named the espnW Mid-Major Coach of the Year in 2015-16 following a run that witnessed the Eagles finish a best-ever 33-6. Over a five-year stretch starting in 2011-12, FGCU racked up four ASUN seasons with a perfect record and capped the run with back-to-back 30 plus win seasons. In 2014-15, the team earned its first top-25 ranking and another NCAA Tournament trip as a seven seed, where FGCU won its first ever NCAA Division-I Tournament game against No. 10 Oklahoma State. Including this year, Smesko has guided the Eagles to 14-straight 20-win seasons. He maintains a record of 432-86 (.834) at FGCU, including a 170-16 (.914) mark in ASUN play. Over the past six + seasons, he has guided FGCU to a 105-4 (.963) record in conference play with four undefeated seasons. Smesko earned his 400th career coaching win in 2014-15 in just 493 career games, two games faster than UConn's Geno Auriemma. He holds a career head coaching record of 493-113 (.813). Smesko ranks among an elite list of just four active Division I coaches with a career win percentage of .800 or higher, joining Auriemma, Baylor's Kim Mulkey and Stanford's Tara VanDerveer in the esteemed group.
