Tyler Johnson joined the Eagles' staff in April of 2025 as video coordinator, bringing energy and a team-first approach to Raina Harmon's program.

Most recently, Johnson served as video coordinator at IU Indy during the 2024-25 season, where he enhanced player development and recruiting efforts. Prior to that, he spent two seasons with the Ohio Bobcats as a graduate assistant, where he maintained the recruiting database, tracked defensive statistics, aided in practice setup, created recruiting graphics, and supported the coaching staff with day-to-day operations.

Before his time at Ohio, Johnson served as head men's basketball team manager at the University of Akron, where he was part of two MAC conference championship teams.

"While Tyler is early in his career, he's one of those young coaches who just gets it," said head coach Raina Harmon. "He brings incredible energy, a team-first mentality and a hunger to learn and grow. I'm excited to watch him flourish in this role."

Johnson earned his bachelor's degree in Sports Management from the University of Akron in 2022 and completed his master's degree in Coaching Education from Ohio in the spring of 2024.
