Tom Sheerin began his current role as the Athletics’ Head Equipment Manager in June 2023. Prior to joining FGCU’s team, Tom spent three years working in Minor League baseball with both the Minnesota Twins and New York Yankees and two years as the Equipment Manager for Babson College in Massachusetts. Sheerin graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies from the University of Rhode Island in 2017 and Masters in Sports Administration from Endicott College in 2019. Tom and his fiancé Brittany will be getting married in September down the street from URI in their favorite beach town, Narragansett, RI. Currently they live in Fort Myers with their two dogs Brady and Lettie.
