Ralph Borchers joins FGCU athletics in January 2026 as the Student-Athlete Development Coordinator II.
 
In his previous role as the Assistant Director for the Knights Leadership Academy at UCF, Ralph gained a deeper understanding of student-athlete development and how to assist students in developing holistically, specifically through programs such as More Than an Athlete, Networking Knights, and The Jobs Program. He also obtained his MBA and MSBM from the UCF DeVos Sports Business Management program and was a graduate assistant for the Knights Leadership Academy. Ralph worked with a variety of organizations throughout his time in Orlando. These events included the Billie Jean King Cup at the USTA National Campus and the NBA G-League Showcase, as well as working closely with Major League Soccer and Orlando City FC, while also being involved in the inaugural season of the Orlando Valkyries.
 
Before UCF, Ralph attended FGCU, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business analytics. While in Fort Myers, Ralph was involved in officiating high school and youth sports and gained professional experience with FGCU's Information Technology department. His involvement in club sports at FGCU included serving as vice president of the club basketball team and leading the club water polo team in goals scored during his senior year.
