Kaitlyn Welch (MS, LAT, ATC) joined FGCU in August 2025 as an Athletic Trainer working primarily with Women's Basketball and Cross-Country programs.  
 
Kaitlyn earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University in athletic training in 2021. While at LSU, she served as a student-athletic training assistant for women’s soccer, softball, and football. From there, she received her master's degree in Sports administration from Georgia State University in 2023.  
 
For the last two years, Kaitlyn was the athletic trainer for an NAIA Men’s soccer and Softball program at Xavier University of New Orleans.
