A 2018 national champion as a student-athlete with Florida State, Mason comes to Fort Myers following three seasons as an assistant coach at UT Arlington. She also recently finished her fourth season playing professional softball for the Atlanta Smoke, which won their fourth consecutive league championship and the inaugural Professional Softball League championship in 2026. This summer, she hit .304 with four home runs while serving as the primary catcher. She also notched starts in the outfield, at first base and at DP for the Smoke.

Mason helped the Mavs improve each of her three seasons on staff, including their first winning season in seven years in 2026. UTA tallied wins over a trio of NCAA Tournament teams in 2026 in Baylor, Cal Baptist and South Dakota.

She took the job in Arlington following her first season playing professional softball, where she helped the Texas Smoke to the 2023 Women’s Professional Fastpitch (WPF) Championship title. 
 
Prior to UTA, Mason served as the head coach for the 14U Central Florida Lady Dukes after helping her father coach his 18U Clearwater Lady Bomber Gold team.
 
The Florida native competed in an FSU uniform for five seasons from 2017-2021. During her time in Tallahassee, Mason was a part of the 2018 national championship team as the Seminoles defeated Washington in an 8-3 victory to claim the program’s first national championship. 

Mason accumulated multiple preseason and postseason awards as she was named to the WCWS All-Tournament Team (2018), ACC Academic Honor Roll (2019), All-ACC Second Team (2019), NFCA Southeast All-Region First Team (2019), Softball American Preseason Top 100 (2020) and Preseason All-ACC Team (2020).
 
She ranks eighth all-time at Florida State with 32 career home runs and finished her career with the 10th-most RBI in program history with 146.

Mason holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications (2020) and a Masters of Arts in sport management (2021) from Florida State.
