Pointelin returns to Florida Gulf Coast University for the 2003-2004 season as a Women's Basketball assistant. Amanda will team up once again with Head coach Karl Smesko after playing for him during the 2002-03 season. In May of 2003, Pointelin received her undergraduate degree in education from FGCU. Starting fall of 2003, Amanda will continue her studies for a masters degree in reading education. Pointelin will be assisting the Eagles this season in the following areas: individual workouts, conditioning, tape exchange, on court coaching (specialty: post-players), and internal basketball office operations.
