Gigi Meyer joined the FGCU volleyball staff following a stellar four-year career as an Eagle. Meyer was the 2014 Atlantic Sun Setter of the Year and a Second Team All-Conference selection after compiling more than 1300 assists in 2014, just 24 shy of the NCAA leader. Meyer led the conference in assists and assists per set while adding 27 kills, 28 blocks and 34 service aces. 

The FGCU record holder with 4,408 assists, Meyer also made 126 appearances in an FGCU uniform, tied for the most all-time. In addition, Meyer was also part of the inaugural FGCU beach volleyball team.
