Biography

Senior (2018-19)
Produced an 8-2 over-all record and went 3-2 in conference play... Collected 11 wins in doubles together with her partner Sara Kelly... Captured a win in three sets and saved the match point to help the Eagles to the finals of the ASUN Championship tournament.

As A Junior (2017-18)
Earned ASUN Second Team plaudits and also landed a spot on the ASUN All-Doubles #3 Team… ITA Scholar-Athlete after turning in a GPA of 3.50 or higher... picked up eight overall wins, six in dual action… played anywhere from #4 to #6 in the singles position as the Spain native went 6-1 on court #6… primarily teamed up with Madison Gallegos as the pair went 7-2 overall and 5-0 in league play…split her last 10 matches to end the season on a three-match win streak.

Transferred to FGCU after spending her first two season at Louisiana Monroe.

As A Sophomore at ULM (2016-17)
Posted a 10-6 overall record and went 4-0 in conference play as ULM won the Sun Belt Regular Season and Tournament Championships … primarily played in No. 3 singles, where she went 9-5 … won all three of her Sun Belt Tournament matches in straight sets … defeated her South Alabama counterpart 6-3, 6-0 as the Warhawks punched their ticket to the NCAA Tournament … fell to #20 Texas A&M’s Domenica Gonzalez (6-1, 6-4) in the NCAA First Round … posted an 8-3 record in her final 11 matches of the season.

As A Freshman at ULM (2015-16)
Went 20-10 overall, including a 14-5 mark in dual matches and 3-1 record in conference play … clinched the Warhawks' Sun Belt Championships first-round contest against Appalachian State's Mackenzie LaSure, winning 7-5, 7-5 ... won five matches in a row early in the spring, beginning with a 6-2, 6-4 win at Northwestern State and ending against UAB in a 6-4, 6-2 victory ... dominated UL Lafayette's Dana Brankovic, 6-2, 6-1, on the road ... won 6-1, 6-1 against Sofia Krsmanovic (Arkansas State) late in the year before posting a big win against Southern Miss at home and winning the aforementioned Appalachian State match.

Prior to College
Attended Bachillerato Santa Maria (Marianistas) … ranked as high as #10 in Spain as a junior and #60 her senior year … was also ranked #1 in her region in each of her four years of school … coached by Luis Arteaga and Rafael Garcia DeJalon.

Born Feb. 10, 1997 … daughter of Constantino and Nieves Villar … has one brother, Mario … psychology major … favorite sports to watch is tennis.
