Posted a combined 25-24 record, going 13-11 in singles and 12-13 in doubles across fall and spring play … In fall singles, opened the Milwaukee Tennis Classic with wins over Navy’s Mary Bellia 6-3, 6-4, Wisconsin’s Karolina Jacobson 6-3, 6-1, and Ole Miss’s Alice Soulie by retirement (all 9/25), then won at the ITA Women’s Southeast Regional Championships over Stetson’s Clelia Lombardi, 6-1, 6-7 (3-7), 6-4 (10/17), and closed fall singles with a match tiebreak win over Memphis’s Emma Dvoracek, 5-7, 7-6 (8-6), 11-9 (11/9), at the Bonita Bay Collegiate Classic … Teamed with Sasha Stula for a tiebreak win over Western Michigan’s Sienna Osborne and Polina Khotko, 7-6 (7-2), at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic (9/25), then paired with Paloma Goldsmith for a 6-3 win over Memphis’s Sofia Mykhailets and Natalia Koppova (11/9) at the Bonita Bay Collegiate Classic … In spring singles, beat Mercer’s Ines Homberg Fernandez in a match tiebreak, 5-7, 6-2, 10-3 (2/20), Arkansas State’s Meghna Arun Kumar 6-4, 6-3 (2/22), Furman’s Sasha Dimitrov 6-4, 6-4 (3/2), won at Lipscomb’s Deborah Dominguez Collado 6-1, 6-1 (3/7), beat Cleveland State’s Mel Petkova Mustafa 7-5, 6-1 (3/11), Liberty’s Maria Turchetto 6-3, 6-2 (3/13), Brown’s Ali Maguy 6-2, 6-1 (3/25), and closed with a three-set win over Stetson’s Anastasija Adeikyte, 6-3, 1-6, 6-3 (4/16) … In spring doubles, teamed with Sabrina Jaramillo for a tiebreak win over Miami Ohio’s Maria Komar, 7-6 (7-0) (1/17), then paired with Cecilie Maeland for wins over Middle Tennessee’s Rutuja Chaphalkar and Sthefany Lima 6-4 (1/25), Southeastern Louisiana’s Taisia Bolsova and Aitana Darder 6-0 (2/16), Mercer’s Marie Bannmeyer and Antonia Schweigel 6-2 (2/20), and Arkansas State’s Hanmare McAslin and Sarah Millard 6-4 (2/22) … Teamed with Jaramillo again for wins over Barry’s Lucie Brun and Anastasia Nikolova 6-2 (2/27), Toledo’s Jone Ibanez and JJ Scholten 6-1 (3/3), and Cleveland State’s Jenna Redmile and Laura Tapia 6-4 (3/11), then closed the season pairing with Burillo Berezak for wins over ETSU’s Niyati Kukreti and Audelie Lesauvage 6-4 (3/17), and Lipscomb’s Martina Bovio and Kameliia Tytarenko 6-2 (4/17).

Matz captured nine singles victories during her sophomore season, competing primarily at the No. 1 position ... She opened the season with a 7-6 (8-6), 6-2 win over No. 4 Lipscomb and added dramatic three-set victories against Barry (6-7, 7-5, 7-6) and Minnesota (7-6, 4-6, 6-4) ... Also earned ASUN wins over Queens (6-0, 6-2) and Eastern Kentucky (6-2, 6-0), highlighting her consistency at the top of the lineup ... In doubles, Matz teamed exclusively with Isabella Colmenares, registering seven wins at the No. 1 position ... Together, they defeated Middle Tennessee, Mercer, Yale, Bellarmine, Queens, and Eastern Kentucky, showcasing strong teamwork and net play throughout the season.
