Tindell, the preseason A-Sun Player of the Year, was as good as advertised in 2014. She ranked top five in the nation in five offensive categories including game-winning goals (11 – First), points (48 – Third), Goals (20 – Third), Points Per Game (2.40 – Fourth) and Goals Per Game (1.000 – Fourth). Her 20 goals and 48 points both led the A-Sun by wide margins over her own teammates and both were also FGCU single-season records. Her 20 goals came on just one more shot than she took all of 2013. She has set the FGCU all-time goals record with 35 in her career and is second only to Shannen Wacker with 82 points. Tindell also showed a pension for distribution by handing out eight assists in 2014, which ranked second in the A-Sun behind Wacker's 15.

She opened up the season with a bang by scoring two goals against Pac-12 foe Arizona then scored again five days later at Miami to give the Eagles a 2-0 start. She would score multiple goals in a match three more times before heading north to La Salle where she would score twice more to guide the Eagles to a 3-2 shootout victory in overtime. She collected 12 points against A-Sun opponents in 2014 with five goals and a pair of assists. During the Eagles' record 11-game winning streak she scored at least one point in each match. She was named the A-Sun Player of the Week three times and chosen to the TopDrawerSoccer.com National Team of the Week three times while also being ranked by TopDrawer as the No. 92 player in the nation. She is the first Player of the Year for FGCU since KC Correllus in 2010.

Tabby Tindell put together one of, if not the greatest individual seasons in program history in just her first year suiting up for the Green and Blue. The Ocala, Fla. native established single-season program records in points (34), goals (15), goals per game (0.75), shots (71), shots per game (3.55), shots on goal (44) and shots on goal per game (2.20).

Scored the first goal of her career against FIU (Sept. 6) in a 2-1 victory ... etched her name in the FGCU women’s soccer history book (Sept. 15) by scoring four goals as part of a 5-1 Eagles’ win over Idaho State in the University of Hawai’i Outrigger Hotels and Resorts Soccer Classic. She set a freshman program record with the four goals. Not only are the four goals the most ever by an FGCU freshman, they are the second-most in program history, bested only by junior transfer Courtney Eppleman’s five goals in FGCU’s first-ever Division I game in August 2007. The eight points by Tindell are also a freshman record and second only to Eppleman’s 10 ... Earned her first A-Sun Player of the Week award (Sept. 16) ...  tallied a pair of goals (Oct. 18) to guide the FGCU to a 3-1 victory over the Mercer Bears to keep the Green and Blue unbeaten in A-Sun play with just two games left in the regular season ... earned her second Player of the Week honor of the season for her two-goal performance ... scored three goals (Oct. 26) to lift the FGCU women's soccer team to a 4-0 victory over Stetson, simultaneously setting the single-season goals and points records and securing an unbeaten record in A-Sun play for just the second time in program history ... claimed her second consecutive A-Sun Player of the Week award and third of the season (Oct. 28) ... Named the A-Sun Freshman of the Year, selected to the First Team and All-Freshman Team (Oct. 31).
