2015 Atlantic Sun Second Team All-Conference
Earned Second Team All-Atlantic Sun honors for the second time in her career … Started in all 22 matches for FGCU in her senior campaign … Netted a total of four goals in her final season, highlighted by a penalty conversion in FGCU’s 2-1 win over USF in the NCAA Tournament … Rhoney saved her best for last, tallying eight points over the final five games … The defender scored at Stetson (Oct. 24) and then against the Hatters again in the A-Sun semifinals (Nov. 6) … In the championship match, Rhoney assisted on two of FGCU’s five goals against Lipscomb (Nov. 8) … The senior was perfect in her two attempts from the penalty spot, both coming in the postseason … In just under 2,000 minutes, Rhoney accumulated four goals and five assists for 13 points, good for fourth on the team.

Was named to the Atlantic Sun All-Conference Second Team and All-Freshman Team … was named a A-Sun Offensive Player of the Week (Sept. 10) … played in all 21 games and made 18 starts in her first season … made her collegiate debut and scored a goal in the 7-0 win against Lynn (Aug. 17) … made her first career start at home against Illinois State (Aug. 26) and scored a goal and recorded an assist … scored back-to-back goals in consecutive games against St. Louis (Sept. 9) and Northern Arizona (Sept. 14) … tallied a career-high two goals at home against Stetson (Oct. 13) … helped FGCU capture its second-straight Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament title and third-straight regular season crown.

A Florida high school first team All-State selection and was a co-captain of her Newsome High School (Lithia, Fla.) team that was ranked No. 2 in the nation by ESPN Rise with a 25-0 record before losing in the state championship game to St. Thomas Aquinas in 2011 … helped Newsome win four district titles, one regional title and was a regional finalist three consecutive years … the points leader for both her high school and travel (Brandon Flames, under Coach Randy Belli) teams … honored by the Tampa Tribune as All-County first team in 2011, was also selected by the coaches for All-Hillsborough County-Western Division first team … was selected All-County honorable mention as a sophomore and received the Wendy’s Heisman Award for Newsome High School for 2011-2012.
