Speckmaier completes the most dangerous scoring trio in the league. She moved from consistently finding time off the bench as a forward a year ago to starting 20 of 21 matches in 2014 as the attacking midfielder for the FGCU program that has won a fifth-consecutive A-Sun Regular Season Championship and completed the first perfect record against A-Sun opponents since the year 2000. Speckmaier contributed career-highs with eight goals and five assists for a career best 21 points which ranked third in the A-Sun behind teammates Tindell and Wacker. She also led the team and the league with an FGCU single-season record 75 shots. She scored her first goal of the season opposite Miami then added goals in back-to-back matches against FIU and Murray state. She scored two goals and handed out three assists against A-Sun competition.

Speckmaier emerged as one of the greatest scoring threats in the league in her debut season. The Miami, Fla. native scored five goals, the third most on the team behind Tindell and Wacker. Speckmaier earned one A-Sun Player of the Week award and alongside Tindell creates one of the most dangerous scoring duos in the league. 

Her 86th-minute goal in the second half broke a tie game and gave the FGCU women’s soccer team a 2-1 victory over visiting Mississippi State (Sept. 1) ... came off the bench for FGCU in the second half, scored two goals and assisted on a third to guide the Eagles to a 3-0 victory over UNF (Sept. 29) ... Earned first A-Sun Player of the Week award (Sept. 30) ... Picked up an assist at Northern Kentucky (Oct. 4) ... would bury a penalty kick to provide the game-winning score against ETSU (Oct. 11) and keep the Eagles unbeaten in A-Sun play ... picked up an assist against USC Upstate (Oct. 13) 

Transferred to FGCU for the spring 2013 semester after leaving the University of Florida in October 2012.
