Appeared in eight games… Played in her first collegiate game during the season-opening victory over FIU (Aug. 22)… Logged a season-high 56 minutes during the conference victory at Stetson (Oct. 27)… Helped limit opponents to just nine goals during the games that she played in… Finished the season with 150 minutes under her belt.

Attended St. Charles North High School, where she played under head coach Brian Harks… Played with Campton United SC and head coach Scott Keena… Received US Nationals Best 11 2018 and Best 11 Naperville Invite honors in 2019… Academic All-Conference selection… Chose FGCU over Louisville, Bucknell, UNH… Also swam competitively for nine years.

Born September 29, 2000… Daughter of Jerry and Sue Wessel… Has one sibling, Kaylee… Chose FGCU for the coaching staff, academics, and success in the women’s soccer program… Favorite sports moment was when the Chicago Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup… Favorite athlete is Zlatan Ibrahimovic… Favorite sports movie is The Blind Side… Favorite book is Gone Girl… Would most like to meet Julie Foudy because she’s such a big inspiration to girls who want to be successful soccer players… Aspires to become an orthopedic physician’s assistant... Majoring in Exercise Science.
