Tyrrell finished in a tie for 54th place with an 80-81-79---240 in the WKU Spring Break Shootout on March 12-13. It was her lone action of the season.

Tyrrell competed in 11 rounds over four events as a sophomore where she produced a 79.00 stroke average. She carded three rounds of 75 or under, including a pair of 73’s in the USA Intercollegiate and Johnie Imes Invitational. Her par-3 (3.25) and par-4 (4.38) scoring averages ranked 11th and 20th, respectively, in program history.


As A Freshman (2015-16) | Season Stats (PDF)
Tyrrell averaged 79.33 over three rounds as a freshman with scores of 82-83-73 at the Johnie Imes Invitational in Columbia, Mo. That came after she won the Midwest Junior PGA Championship in late June 2015 and competed in the Junior PGA Championship Aug. 3-6

High School
Tyrrell is a 2015 graduate of Blue Valley North, where she was the 2014 Kansas 6A state high school individual champion and led the her team to the 2011 state team championship. She qualified for the Junior PGA Championship in 2012, 2014 and 2015 and was ranked as the No. 1 player in the state of Kansas and a top 100 class of 2015 player nationally by GolfWeek. She appeared in several elite tournaments, including the 2013 Arizona Silver Bell Championship, the 2010 and 2011 Optimist Junior Golf Championship and the 2012 and 2014 Junior PGA Championship. Additionally, she placed first at the FCWT Grayhawk event and fired a 74 in the second round of the 2014 Callaway Junior World Championship. She was chosen by the USGA to represent the United States at the 2013 USA vs China Youth Matches in Beijing, China, was a member of the 2014 Mid-America Junior Cup Team and was a two-time finalist for the USGA-AJGA President’s Leadership Award.
