As a freshman (2024-25)

Petrova ran an 18:13.5 5k at the FAU Invitational for a fourth-place finish. She set the all-time freshman 5k record at the Southern Showcase on Sep. 13 with a 5k time of 18:04.0. She ended her season with a 100th place finish in the 6k at the NCAA South Region Championships with a time of 21:59.8 in Tallahassee, FL. Petrova was named ASUN Freshman of the Week three times and was named ASUN Freshman of the Year. She was awarded Third Team All-ASUN and named to the? All-Freshman Team. She was also named the FGCU Suncoast Credit Union Scholar-Athlete of the Month for October…Competed as the SPAR European XC Championships for team Lativa. Spring 2025 Finished third at the Tampa Open in a time of 10:15.36...Produced a 17:31.41 showing and also earned third spot at the Tampa Classic...Had an 11th-place showing at the highly contested Florida Relays in the 5000m and stopped the clock at 17:28.96. She later improved her time at the South Florida Invitational by almost 21 seconds and ran 17:07.19, earned a third place finish.
