Jeremy Blake-Johnson, who joined FGCU Athletics in September 2023, serves as the departments Associate Athletic Director, Athletic Operations and Chief Financial Officer. During his time with the Eagles, he has overseen record growth in facility rentals, sustained growth in ticket revenue, and has aided efforts that have led to a 20% increase in the overall operating budget.
With FGCU, Blake-Johnson oversees business operations, ticketing, game-day operations, facilities and events. Blake-Johnson works closely with the revenue generating units in strategy development and execution, while overseeing the management of the athletic department budget. As a sport supervisor, Blake-Johnson works with the Softball, Women’s Soccer, and Cheerleading programs.

Blake-Johnson joined FGCU after previously serving as a member of the Merrimack College Athletics executive administration, during the Warriors four-year Division I transitionary period. Serving as their Assistant Athletic Director, Blake-Johnson oversaw marketing, ticketing, game-day operations, student employment and campus recreation.

Blake-Johnson's primary responsibilities included driving revenue through the Varsity Basketball, Football, and Ice Hockey programs, balancing the student employment budget, and providing a professional game-day experience. Notably, Merrimack led the NEC in football attendance for three consecutive seasons and recorded 11 men’s ice hockey sell-outs in 2022-23.

During his time at Merrimack, he served as a member of numerous campus committees and initiatives, including: Homecoming, Commencement Ceremonies, and the President’s Cup Golf Tournament. Prior to his promotion to Assistant Athletic Director, he also served in the capacities of Manager of Marketing/Ticketing Operations and Interim Director of Campus Recreation.

Blake-Johnson was a five-year member of Merrimack's baseball program and earned his undergraduate degree with a concentration in sports management/marketing in 2018. He went on to complete his Master’s of Science in Management at Merrimack in 2019.

A native of Worcester, Mass., Blake-Johnson resides in Estero with his wife, Mariah.
