Biography

CAREER OVERVIEW (2018-PRESENT) | CAREER STATS (PDF)
Carter comes to FGCU after pouring in a school-record 2,116 career points at Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio, where she was a three-time Division II All-American, helping her team to a pair of Great Midwest Athletic Conference titles and three NCAA Tournament berths, including a run to the round of 16 as a senior. During her time there, Carter produced 109 games with 10+ points, 47 games with 20+ and five outings with 30+ points along with 29 double-doubles, one of which was a triple-double. Her head coach with the Cavaliers was Kate (Schrader) Bruce, who was also coached by Karl Smesko at FGCU, where she scored 1,062 career points and earned All-American honors from 2005-07 while leading her team to an NCAA Division II national runner-up finish as a senior.
