Sat out the fall semester due to NCAA transfer rules before becoming eligible for the Dec. 16 contest against Oral Roberts where he scored 10 points and grabbed four rebounds in a starting role … averaged 6.6 points and 5.6 rebounds in the 24 games he played … secured a pair of double-doubles – both coming against North Florida with 14 points and 11 rebounds (Jan. 24) and 14 points and a career-high 12 rebounds (Jan. 29) … career-best 16 points in the ASUN Tournament semifinals versus North Florida (Mar. 1) … made a career-high seven field goals in that contest … also reached double-figure points against Florida Memorial (10, Dec. 29) and Lipscomb (10, Jan. 18) … field-goal percentage of .477 (62-130) … connected at a .342 rate (13-38) from 3-point range … made a career-high three 3-pointers at Lipscomb … at least one 3-pointer in five-straight contests from Feb. 15-Mar. 1 … started 20 games and averaged 18.7 minutes per outing … 19 blocks were the 2nd-most on the team, and his per-game rebounding average paced the club.

Transferred to FGCU in January of 2017 from Miami, where he was sitting out after transferring there from VCU in the summer of 2016. Sat out two semesters per NCAA transfer rules, becoming eligible in December of 2017.

As A Sophomore At VCU (2015-16)
Put up career-best numbers in his last game for the Rams, with 12 points and eight rebounds in 20 minutes against Oklahoma in the 2016 NCAA Tournament. In that game, was 4-of-4 from the field, hitting 2-of-2 attempts from long range. Was also perfect at the line, making both attempts ... started 18 of the first 24 games (30 total) ... hit 47.4 percent (37-78) from the field ... 38.2 percent (13-34) from long range ... averaged 3.2 points and 2.8 rebounds in 11.5 minutes per outing.
