Biography

As a Senior (2019-20)
Appeared in all nine matches for the Eagles, primarily playing on the top court in doubles play and between the third and fourth flights in singles … He and teammate Felipe Ramirez paired up for doubles play, earning a 3-3 mark at the top spot in the lineup … The duo advanced to the semi-final round of the ITA Regionals (Oct. 28) … Earned his first singles win of the spring season during the dual against Florida A&M (Jan. 18).

ASUN Player of the Week (April 15)
Established himself as a constant in the FGCU lineup in his first season with the Eagles … Finished fall tournament play with a team-best 13-2 record, including an 8-2 mark in singles play … He and Marcelo Tebet won the consolation bracket championship at the Bedford Cup (Sept. 30) … He also claimed the Flight 2 singles championship at the Bedford Cup … Posted a 12-7 mark in dual play and a 13-7 mark in spring doubles play … Played primarily at the bottom half of the lineup in singles play and finished with a 7-0 mark in conference matches … Earned ASUN Player of the Week (April 15) after going 3-0 in the matches against Liberty and Kennesaw State … Went on a seven-match winning streak in singles play that began with the match against Brown (March 28) and continued up to the match against Kennesaw State (April 13) … Competed with Felipe Ramirez at the third spot in the doubles lineup in conference play, finishing 6-1 … He and Ramirez won eight straight doubles matchups from NJIT (March 22) to the championship match against UNF (April 21) … He and Ramirez’ doubles match against No. 4 Florida in the first round of the NCAA Tournament was tied up at 4-4 when the Gators claimed the point.

Transferred to FGCU after two seasons at Virginia Tech

As a Sophomore at Virginia Tech (2017-18)

Was 8-10 overall in singles, including 2-1 this spring with wins in matches versus EKU and St. Bonaventure … Picked up tournament wins against opponents from ranked teams: No. 23 South Carolina, No. 68 Georgia Tech, No. 53 Princeton and No. 20 Georgia … In the fall, advanced to the second round of the ITA Atlantic Regional.

Competed in five dual matches for the Hokies… going 2-0 at the five.
