Collin Johns completed his first season with FGCU in 2019. In his first season with the Green and Blue, Johns helped lead the Eagles to their third ASUN tournament title and an apperance in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.Â
Prior to being named an assistant, Johns played professionally for six years until August of 2018. During that span, he achieved a career-high ATP ranking of 978 in singles and 939 in doubles competition. Johns has competed in  over a dozen countries, highlighted by making the finals of the 2015 Gatorade Open in Guatemala and has made seven quarterfinals appearances at various futures tournaments.Â
A unique aspect to Johns' game was the ability to be one of the only players on tour to play with two forehands.   Â
