ASUN All-Freshman Team
Appeared in 25 singles matches from the No. 6 position, and posted a 9-13 record... Strung together a three-match straight-set win streak against Queens (6-3, 6-2), Eastern Kentucky (6-4, 6-0), and Lipscomb (6-2, 6-3)... Went 5-2 in conference play... Appeared in 14 doubles matches mostly from the No. 1 position with partner Hugo Magnusson, and posted a 3-8 record... Collecting victories over Alabama State (6-4), Southern Miss (7-5), and Air Force (6-3)... Named to the ASUN All-Freshman Team.

Attended Blue Valley North High School... Played under Tracey Johnson... Won the Missouri Valley Sportsmanship Award... Picked up two tournament sportsmanship awards... Awarded the USTA Missouri Valley Family of the Year... Member of the National Honors Society and was a four-year honor roll member.

Son of Chris and Suzie Smith... Has a sister, Shelby... Chose FGCU because of the coach, being by the beach, and the campus... Father played tennis at Fresno State and Sacramento State... Majoring in Exercise Science.
