Despite playing just two years with FGCU, at the time of his graduation Goodwin’s name was plastered all over the program’s all-time record book, including: points (7th, 1,261), assists (5th, 301), field goals made (8th, 442), field-goal percentage (7th, .490) and free throws made (3rd, 280) … holds the top-two single-season program records for points with 632 in 2017-18 and 629 in 2016-17 … career scoring average of 18.5 points per game in his two years with the Eagles is three points higher than anyone else in program history.

Broke his own single-season scoring record with 632 points … one of only eight players nationally to lead his team in points, rebounds and assists … ranked 2nd in the ASUN in scoring, 3rd in assists, 9th in steals (1.4) and 12th in rebounding – the only player in the league to rank in the top 12 in all four categories … eclipsed his own single-season Division-I program record for free throws made (137) … in league games, he ranked 4th in scoring (19.6), 4th in steals (1.7), 5th in assists (4.6) and 8th in rebounding (6.1) – once again the only player to rank in the top 10 in all four categories … also ranked 8th in ASUN games in field-goal percentage (.538) … finished the regular season by posting scoring performances of 28, 28 and 27 points … delivered a then D-I program record 34-point performance in the ASUN Tournament Final – a total surpassed in the same game by Zach Johnson (37) … double-figure points in 31 of 34 games … six-straight 20+ point games in December … flirted with the program’s first-ever triple-double versus NJIT (Jan. 13), finishing with 21 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists … selected to compete in the inaugural 3X3U National Championship during Final Four Weekend, helping the ASUN Team to a 2-1 record … became just the second player in program history (Brett Comer, 2015) invited to participate in the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament.

Set the program’s single-season scoring record with 629 points – the only player to ever eclipse the 600-point mark … led FGCU in scoring (5th in the ASUN) and assists (4th in the ASUN), and finished 3rd in rebounding … the 18.5 point-per-game average shattered the program’s previous D-I single-season record of 17.1 by Marc-Eddy Norelia in 2015-16 … 136 made free throws also eclipsed Norelia’s D-I single-season program record of 129 set in 2015-16 … on Feb. 20, he became the first player in league history to be named both ASUN Player of the Week and ASUN Newcomer of the Week … just the fourth player in program history to be named to the NABC District 3 First Team … tabbed as the ASUN Tournament MVP after averaging 20 points over three FGCU wins, and continued his brilliant play into the NCAA Tournament with game-bests of 28 points and seven assists in the 14th-seeded Eagles’ narrow 86-80 loss to 3rd-seeded Florida State in the First Round … eclipsed the 1,000-point mark for his career in that contest with the Seminoles (1,019 entering his senior year) … hit three game-winning shots on the year: a floater in the paint at Louisiana Tech (Dec. 20) with 12 seconds remaining, all three free throws with .6 of a second left at Stetson (Jan. 7) and a baseline 3-pointer with 34 seconds showing at North Florida (Jan. 25) … scored a season-high 29 points on two occasions, and tallied 28 two other times – including an FGCU ASUN Championship record in the semifinals versus Kennesaw State (Mar. 2) … led FGCU with 55 made 3-pointers … shot 51.2 percent (219-428) from the floor as a guard to rank 9th in the ASUN … became the first FGCU player besides Brett Comer to have a double-double with assists since 2009 with 12 points and 10 rebounds at Georgia Southern (Dec. 4) … set the program’s D-I single-game record with 15 made free throws (15-17) at USC Upstate (Feb. 18) … reached double-figure points in 32 of 34 games, scoring at least 20 points on 14 occasions … led, or tied, FGCU in scoring 20 times … in conference games, he was the only player in the ASUN who averaged at least 19 points (19.8), six rebounds (6.1) and three assists (3.6) … was the only FGCU player to start all 34 games … logged a team-high 1,073 minutes – the 6th-most in single-season program history.

As Sophomore At UCF (2014-15) | Game-By-Game Stats
Averaged 10.2 points and a team-high 4.2 assists per game ... started all 30 games, with his scoring average ranking 22nd in the American Athletic Conference and his assist average ranking fourth in the league ... led UCF in steals at 1.2 per game, an average which was good for 10th in the AAC ... scored a career-high 30 points in a 79-78 overtime win at Houston in January ... accentuated his performance in extraordinary fashion, first by scoring the final 13 points of the game for UCF, including a 30-footer with two seconds left in regulation to send the game into overtime, and then by hitting a step-back 3-pointer with 1.1 seconds on the clock to win it for the Knights also grabbed seven rebounds and also handed out five assists in the game ... his best assist performance came just more than a month later in mid-February when he issued a career-high 13 at Tulane, tying the single-game AAC record ... recorded five or more assists 13 times and had seven or more helpers on five occasions ... also ranked 15th in the league in field-goal percentage (43.7) and 10th with a 1.4 assist-to-turnover ratio ... played 1,013 minutes on the season (33.8 per game), which was the second-most on the team and the 11th-most in UCF single-season history.

Played in 28 games and made nine starts, averaging 3 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 14.7 minutes per game ... had two games of double-digit points, one double-digit rebound outing and one double-double.

High School
Named Georgia 6A Player of the Year as a senior in 2013 after averaging 15.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.8 steals per game while leading Norcross HS to the 6A State Championship and a 27-6 overall record ... earned All-State First Team honors from the Georgia Sportswriters Association, was tabbed as the Gwinnett Daily Post Player of the Year and was honored as the Atlanta Journal Constitution Gwinnett Player of the Year ... as a junior he averaged 15.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game ... attended the same high school as several NBA players, including current Portland Trail Blazer Al-Farouq Aminu (Wake Forest), Detroit Piston Jodie Meeks (Kentucky) and Charlotte Bobcat Jeremy Lamb (UConn).

Born on Oct. 2, 1995 … son of Swansetta Goodwin … basketball is his favorite sport to watch … making it on to SportsCenter’s Top 10 is one of his biggest accomplishments thus far … aspires to be a professional basketball player … criminal justice major.
