Attended Florida Virtual School... Played club soccer for Azzuri Storm under coach Chris Gores.

Son of Luis and Gloria Velez... Has one sibling, Matthew... Chose FGCU as his dream college and for its proximity to family... His favorite sport moment was scoring two long-range goals in the final 15 minutes to help his team in Colombia rally from a man-down, 3-1 deficit to tie the game 3-3... Something no one really knows about him is that he enjoys playing the trumpet in his free time... Would like to meet Luis Díaz, calling him an amazing player and an even better person... His father played professional volleyball in Colombia... Aspires to play soccer professionally... Majoring in Business Administration.
