Vega enters his first full season with the Green and Blue in 2019 as he's no stranger to the program. From 2012-2015 the Guatemalan native appeared in 53 matches for the Eagles, making 45 starts primarily as a defender. During that stretch, he helped anchor FGCU to four ASUN regular season titles, including a pair of ASUN Tournament championships (2012, 2014) that resulted into two NCAA Tournament berths.

He helped the Eagles to a record of 34-24-12 in his career, including a dominant 20-3-4 mark in conference games.
