As a Freshman & Sophomore (2010-11)
Competed at Cowley County Community College … recorded a 3-0 record with a 4.17 ERA as a freshman, accumulating 21 strikeouts and 14 walks in 28 innings on the mound … followed with a sophomore season in which he posted a 10-0 mark with a program record setting 0.81 ERA, striking out 55 batters and allowing just four walks in 66.1 innings on the hill … named the KJCAA Pitcher of the Week and NJCAA Pitcher of the Week … selected to the All-Conference first team, All-Region first team, and All-American first team … also holds the record for most consecutive scoreless innings (27) and tied the record for most consecutive shutouts (3) … selected to the National Honor Society … held a 3.95 cumulative GPA.

High School
Attended Tulsa Union High School … played for head coach Shawn Newkirk … finished his senior season with a 6-3 record, holding a 2.56 ERA with 36 strikeouts and 16 walks in 52 innings of work … earned All-Conference and All-State honors as a senior.
