Competed as an individual in FGCU’s two home events … recorded rounds of 91-78 (169) at the Homewood/Hilton Garden Airport & FGCU Classic (Oct. 29-30) … signed for an 83-86 (169) at the Randy Grimes Memorial Shootout (Feb. 11) … made five birdies over those four rounds.

Joined the team in the spring semester and did not compete in any tournaments.

Fort Myers HS graduate … named News-Press Golfer of the Year three times … as a senior was named the News-Press Golfer of the Year and carried his team to regionals while qualifying for states as an individual … four-year varsity letterwinner and four-time MVP of his team … in the classroom he graduated with a 4.32 GPA and was a member of Rho Kappa (Social Studies Honor Society) … Rotary Club of Fort Myers Scholar-Athlete Award recipient.

Born on Aug. 12, 1997 … son of Alison and Scott Weber … moved to Fort Myers from South Dakota when he was in the 6th grade … chose FGCU because it gives him the best opportunity to excel in the classroom and on the golf course … assistant coach for Cypress Lake Middle School boys volleyball team in 2016 … favorite sport to watch is basketball and favorite athlete is Tom Brady … favorite sports movie is The Greatest Game Ever Played … aspires to play on the PGA Tour and be physical therapist … psychology major.
