Recorded two top-five finishes and two top-10 finishes a season ago, including a season-best finish of 2nd at Coral Creek Invitational lifting FGCU to a team title ... Finished 3nd (season low 207) at the Auburn Collegiate propelling FGCU to back-to-back team titles ... Averaged a team-leading 71.94 over 36 rounds of play with eight rounds in the 60s, including a season low round of 66 ... His 71.94 average last season placed fifth all-time in FGCU's single-season scoring average ... Cherichella also sank the most birdies in a single-season (130), surpassing Daniel Mazziotta's 121 in 2010-11 ... Competed in 18 rounds over six tournaments with an average score of 72.78 which ranked fourth overall on the team ... Had four rounds on the year with scores in the 60s and six rounds at par-or-better … Placed second individually in the Any Given Tuesday tournament, achieving a season best three-round score of 209, which included a season-low 68 in the second round ... Competed in the Old Corkscrew Intercollegiate tournament placing second individually (71-74-64--209) leading the Eagles to a victory - his third-round score of 64 tied the school record ... At the Linger Longer Invitational, recorded led the Eagles with an 11th-place finish and a 54-hole total of 214 highlighted by a third-round 68.
