Competed in all 12 events for FGCU ... Led all Eagles at the both the ASUN Championship and NCAA Regional, placing sixth (ASUN) and tied for 15th (NCAA) ... Recorded two top-five finishes and two top-10 finishes a season ago, including a season-best finish of 2nd at Coral Creek Invitational lifting FGCU to a team title ... Finished 3nd (season low 207) at the Auburn Collegiate propelling FGCU to back-to-back team titles ... Averaged a team-leading 71.94 over 36 rounds of play with eight rounds in the 60s, including a season low round of 66 ... His 71.94 average last season placed fifth all-time in FGCU's single-season scoring average ... Cherichella also sank the most birdies in a single-season (130), surpassing Daniel Mazziotta's 121 in 2010-11 ... Member of a squad that made history as the first program in FGCU athletics history to earn an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament ... The Eagles were selected as the ninth-seed at the Columbus Regional, finishing 12th in its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance ... FGCU was the runner-up at the ASUN Championship for the second-straight season ... The Green and Blue entered the postseason ranked No. 51, picking up two team tournament wins throughout the year ... AS A FRESHMAN (2020-21):
ASUN All-Freshman Team
Competed in 18 rounds over six tournaments with an average score of 72.78 which ranked fourth overall on the team ... Had four rounds on the year with scores in the 60s and six rounds at par-or-better … Placed second individually in the Any Given Tuesday tournament, achieving a season best three-round score of 209, which included a season-low 68 in the second round ... Competed in the Old Corkscrew Intercollegiate tournament placing second individually (71-74-64--209) leading the Eagles to a victory - his third-round score of 64 tied the school record ... At the Linger Longer Invitational, recorded led the Eagles with an 11th-place finish and a 54-hole total of 214 highlighted by a third-round 68. 

BEFORE COLLEGE
A a senior in 2020, posted a 70.6 scoring average playing for head coach Justin Johnson at Lake Nona High School ... Member of the Orlando Sentinel Regional First Team ... Took second in the 2020 AJGA Sean Foley Open ... Had 10 top-10 finishes overall and five top-5 finishes since January 2018 ... Finished 2^nd on the 2019 Florida Junior Tour Points List (4,946) … Tied for 9^th at the St. Augustine Amateur shooting 76-66-69--211 … Led Lake Nona to three consecutive regional titles and a 2019 runner-up finish at the Class 3A Florida Championship … As a senior, guided Lake Nona to a Metro-East Conference championship title and a runner-up finish in the Class 3A District 7 championship tournament as one of the best seasons in program history … Chericella led the Lions with a 3-under par 69 in the district championship … As a junior, tied for seventh at the state championship tournament … Individually, posted 10 top-10 finishes in junior events including five top-5 performances since January 2018.
