As a Junior (2025-26)
One of the Eagles top performers since the day he walked onto campus, Mokgothu placed second in the UNF Invitaitonal in his first event at FGCU, posting an 8k time of 24:46.5. He won the Ed Holloway Classic and helped FGCU to a team title with a time of 24:58.2 in the 8k. He posted his best time of the year in the ASUN Championships, recording a 24:22.7 8k to finish in the top 30.  Spring 2026 Mokgothu had an outstanding spring, winning the Tampa Spartans Open (3000m), the Tampa Spartans Classic, and Florida Relays (5000m), while finishing third at the UCF Black & Gold Challenge with a 10,000m time of 30:21.40. 

As a Sophomore (Spring 2025)
Won the 3000m steeplechase at the UCF Knights Invite meet with a time of 9:04.90. Finished second at the highly competitive Florida Relays in the steeplechase with a time to 8:57.37. Ran 14:51.66 at the Tampa Classic and took home third place.
