As a sophomore (2025-26)
Toro continued to improve throughout his sophomore season, posting a career best 25:16.4 in the 8k at the ASUN Championships, more than 20 seconds better than his previous best mark. Two weeks later he set a new personal best in the 10k, going 32:54.8 at the NCAA South Region Championships. Spring 2026 - His spring highlight came with a top 25 finish at the UCF Black & Golf Challenge when he ran a 15:54.42 5000m.

As a freshman (2024-25)
Toro had a strong start to the season with a 10th-place finish at the FAU Invitational for a 5k time of 15:56.3. He finished off the season with a 64th-place finish at the 2024 ASUN Cross Country Championships with a time of 26:13.2 (Running a personal best) and a 10k time of 34:30.2 at the NCAA South Region Championships (In Tallahassee, FL). Toro was awarded the program’s first-ever ASUN Freshman of the Week award… Spring 2025 - Took 25th spot in the 5000m at the Tampa Classic with a 15:29.78 showing.
