As a Junior (2025-26)
Casterline kicked off his FGCU career with a bang, posting a top 15 finish at the UNF Invitational with an 8k mark of 25:18.7. He finished fifth at the Ed Holloway Classic with a 25:51.8 8k. His career best 10k time came at the NCAA South Region Championship when he ran a 33:19.2 for the Eagles. Spring 2026 Casterline finished fifth with a career best 14:55.69 5000m mark at the Tampa Spartans Classic and one week later notched his best 10,000m mark with a 31:28.24 to finish 13th at the UCF Black & Gold Challenge. 

As a Sophomore (Spring 2025)
Finished 4th at the Tampa Open in the 3000m with an 8:44.39 showing. Produced a time of 15:07.15 in the 5000m at the Tampa Classic. Finished 12th at the UCF Black & Gold Challenge. Stopped the clock at 8:54.67 and earned a 10th-place finish in the 3000 at the UCF Invite.

Daytona State Junior College Highlights:

• Bronze Medalist at the 2024 NJCAA Division II National Championships, earning All-American status
• 2024 NJCAA Atlantic Region Runner of the Year award by USTCCCA
• 2024 Male Scholar Athlete of the Year
• Larry Monts Award Recipient for men’s cross country, Region 8
