Greg Hurlbrink, Jr.

Hurlbrink is in his first year at FGCU, after being hired in July 2022. Greg is an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coordinator in charge of all aspects of the men’s and women’s basketball programs.

Hurlbrink came to FGCU after serving as a strength and conditioning assistant at The University of Miami. At Miami he worked directly with men’s and women’s basketball assisting with program design and implementation, as well as return to play. He helped the hurricanes to two NCAA Tournament appearances including an elite 8.

Prior to Miami, Hurlbrink had stops in Eugene and Corvallis. Spending time as a strength and conditioning intern for football at The University of Oregon as well as Oregon State University. He worked directly with the football strength staff to assist in implementing offseason training.

Hurlbrink earned his bachelor’s degree from The University of Kentucky in 2019 and a master’s degree in kiniesiology from McDaniel College in 2021.
