Reardon put an outstanding freshman campaign together as the primary shortstop for the Green and Blue. As the everyday leadoff man, Reardon hit .311 in his debut season as one of six Eagles to hit above .300. He would score 50 runs, which ranked second in the league while hitting .333 in conference play. Reardon drove in 23 runs out of the leadoff spot to go with 68 hits, nine doubles and a pair of long balls, both of which came on the road in A-Sun play. He would walk 34 times and steal five bags while posting .942 fielding percentage.
