A four-year letter winner and two-year team captain in both baseball and basketball at Central Columbia High School … Scored 1,169 points, was a two-time all-regional selection and is the school’s fourth all-time leading scorer in basketball … A three-time All-Regional pitcher and first baseman on the diamond … Helped lead the Bluejays to consecutive league titles in 2017 and 2018 … Played with the Allentown Railers of the ACBL during the summer of 2019 … Struck out six or more batters in seven of his eight ACBL appearances with four outings of eight or more Ks.

Son of Dale and Patrice Coombe … Has four siblings: DJ, Dan, Jake and Cassie … A member of the honor roll in high school … Lists his brothers as the people he admires most and Marcus Stroman as his favorite athlete… His dad played baseball at Biscayne College and his brother DJ played baseball at Allegany Junior College … His uncle, Larry Kubin, played in the NFL for the Washington Redskins and Buffalo Bills … His cousin, Jared Kubin, played baseball at the University of Florida.
