Biography

Career Overview (2018-21)
Despite having her junior season cut short after four matches due to Covid-19, Whetstone finished her career at FGCU as the program’s all-time wins leader (67), while also checking in second in winning percentage (.736). As a senior, she became the first Eagle to produce multiple 20-plus win campaigns, while also pushing her postseason record to 10-4. After spending four years in Fort Myers and earning a bachelor’s in economics and finance, she utilized her graduate season with the Georgia State beach volleyball program, where she is working on a master’s in finance.

Went 3-1 in postseason play with Johnson ... Became program’s all-time wins leader with 67 and concluded career with second-best win percentage (.736).

Went 16-10 (.615) along with Snowy Burnam … Broke program’s freshman wins record … Named the program’s first-ever ASUN pair of the week (3/13) … As a No. 4 pair, their 16 wins topped Leigh Pudwill and Madi Wilcox’s record of 10 set in 2017 … Picked up her first career win over a ranked team (3/10) against No. 15 FAU alongside Burnam, which was just the program’s second win over a ranked team at the No. 4 spot including win over No. 8 Stetson (3/23/16) by Madi Wilcox and Elisa Anne Aldrich … Joined Burnam on the ASUN’s All-Freshmen team … Produced first career win over a ranked team (3/10) against No. 15 FAU, which was just the program’s second win over a ranked team at the No. 4 spot.
