Marck-Sherk, who is one of just two players in program history to complete her career with over 100 rounds played (Georgia Price, 111), completed her time with the Green and Blue as the program’s all-time leader in eagles (4), birdies (213) and par or better rounds (15). She was one of 13 players with a tournament win at the time of her graduation. She also finished her career with three of the top 15 single-season scoring averages.
 
The native of Canada finished her career with a pair of top 10 finishes at the ASUN Championship, as well as a top 20 finish as a senior. She’s one of just five players in program history to accomplish twice finish in the top 10 – joining Briana Carlson (3), Kelsy Holbert, Megan Blonien and Mei Khuan Yong.

Marck-Sherk was a three-time ASUN golfer of the week (03/15/18, 02/16/17 and 03/23/17), which is tied for the most in a career in program history.

Marck-Sherk averaged a career-best 75.65 scoring average as a senior over 26 rounds en route to Second Team All-ASUN recognition and ASUN All-Academic team placement. In the Johnie Imes Invitational (first round) and Lady Paladin Invitational (third round), she shot a 70 (-2) to tie for the 16th lowest round in program history.

As a junior, Marck-Sherk recorded six top-20 finishes and three top-10 finishes. Her 76.20 stroke average ranks ninth-best in program history and her 4.98 par-5 scoring average is tied for best all-time.

Marck-Sherk’s season-best performance came in the ASUN Championship, where she shot a 77-70---147 to tie for second. Her final round score is tied for the 20th-best in program history. Her second-place finish is tied with Megan Blonien (2017) and Fabienne Haremza (2011) for the best finish in the event in program history. Her second-round 70 tied her own 2016 second-round total and Sara Detlefsen’s 2015 third-round score as the lowest round in program history at the ASUN Championship.

In the season-opening Johnie Imes Invitational, Marck-Sherk shot a 74-71-76---221 (+5), where she once again tied for the 19th best round along with moving into a tie for 14th-best 36-hole score and 18th-best 54-hole score.

In the WKU Spring Break Shootout, Marck-Sherk finished with a 75-71-76---222, which gave her the program’s 21st-best 36-hole and 54-hole totals in program history.

The Mid-American Match Play Challenge witnessed her finish 2-1 with wins over Ohio’s Nicole Smiley (4&3) and Northern Illinois product Brielle Ward (1-UP).

Marck-Sherk had an historic sophomore campaign, averaging a 76.04 over 30 rounds spanning 10 tournaments. Her par-3, par-4 and par-5 scoring averages all ranked within the top 15 in program history.

The highlight of her season came in the MSU Citrus Challenge on March 19-21, where she became one of only eight individual champions in the program’s Division-I era by firing a 71-71-70---212. Her first and second round scores are tied for 19th-best all-time, while her final round score is tied for the seventh-best. Her 142 (-2) is tied for the second-best 36-hole total, and her 212 is the second-best 54-hole total in program history.

She also produced a 71 in the opening round of the John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate and the final round of the FIU Pat Bradley Invitational, which both also rank 19th-best.

In the Mid-American Match Play Challenge, Marck-Sherk went 3-0-1 by defeating IPFW’s Paige Bird (6&5), Lamar’s Olivia Le Roux (5&4) and Oakland’s Kylee Sullivan (5&4).

In the ASUN Championship, Marck-Sherk fired an 80-75-77---232 and finished tied for 14th individually. Following the season, she was named Second Team All-ASUN.

As a freshman, Marck-Sherk tallied a 77.79 average over 32 rounds spanning 11 tournaments. That average ranked 15th in program history, while Marck-Sherk’s play helped her capture ASUN All-Freshmen Team recognition and her 49 birdies ranked sixth in program history. In the ASUN Championship, she shot a 79-70-77---226 to finish in a season-best eighth place, while her second round total in that event was tied for the fifth-best round in program history.
 
Over a three-day span in September, her and Megan Blonien produced one of two hole-in-ones for the team.

High School
Marck-Sherk, a graduate of Ridgeway Crystal Beach High School, won the 2014 Ontario Juvenile Girls championship, earned four wins on the Niagara Junior Tour, qualified for the 2012 Teen World Championships and finished among the top 10 at the 2014 Ontario Junior Girls event. On top of that, she placed second in the Investors Group Ontario Women’s Amateur in 2016 (74-71-69-76) and 2017 (71-71-78-71).
