As a Senior (2017) | Game-by-Game Stats
Set the FGCU single-season saves record, led the ASUN and ranked T-25th in the NCAA with 12 ... ranked 2nd on the team and T-2nd in the ASUN with 29 relief appearances … went 2-3 with a 5.50 ERA … struck out 34 batters and issued only seven walks … recorded nine saves and posted a 1.35 ERA in his first 14 appearances of the season … didn’t allow an earned run in eight appearances from Mar. 12-29 and allowed just one hit during the span … pitched a scoreless inning of relief vs. #2 Florida (Mar. 7) and earned the save as FGCU completed the midweek sweep of the Gators the following day … struck out three batters in 11 pitches and earned the save vs. #21 USF (Mar. 22) … pitched a perfect inning with a pair of strikeouts and earned the save in front of a soldout crowd vs. Miami (Mar. 29) … closed out the regular season with three scoreless innings at Kennesaw State (May 20) … earned the spot start and pitched 6.1 innings in FGCU’s ASUN Championships clinching win vs. Jacksonville (May 27) … completed his FGCU career as the program record holder in saves (19), appearances (98), games finished (52) and fewest BB/9.0 IP (1.15).

Was the Eagles most used arm out of the bullpen as he made 22 appearances and one start on the season … tied for the team-lead in wins with a 6-4 record and ranked fourth on the squad with a 3.02 ERA … struck out 46 batters in 56.2 innings pitched to go along with only four walks and was 0.1 innings pitched shy of ranking second in the nation with an 11.5 K-BB ratio … his 0.64 walks allowed per nine innings ranks as they second-best mark in a single-season in program history while his career mark of 0.76 tops the list … earned back-to-back wins in relief appearance vs. Fordham (Feb. 22) and at USF (Feb. 24) during which he allowed one earned run in a combined 9.0 innings pitched to go along with seven strikeouts … struck out a career-high eight batters in 5.2 innings of relief vs Minnesota (Feb. 28) … pitched a career-high 6.2 innings of scoreless relief to go along with seven strikeouts at FSU (Apr. 7) … earned his lone save of the season in a 9-7 win at UNF (Mar. 27) … allowed only four earned runs in eight appearances during conference play, including a streak of seven-consecutive games without allowing a run from Apr. 4-May 10 … posted a 3-0 record with a 2.16 ERA in the A-Sun.

Stellar performance by Koerner lead FGCU to series victory over Rhode Island (February 16) ... Tossed 6.0 scoreless innings in relief against Manhattan and gave the Eagles their first sweep of 2014 while picking up his second win in the process (March 9) ... Picked up the first hit of his career versus FAMU earlier in the inning (March 15) ... Got the save versus Mercer (April 25) ... Came in to close FAU out for his second save of the season (April 29) ... Relieved English and tossed 4.0 innings versus NKU, gave up four runs, struck out three and earned his third win of the season (May 4) ...
