As A Senior (2015-16)
Secured 14 singles wins and 12 doubles wins to earn Second Team All-Atlantic Sun honors … Also named to the ASUN All-Academic Team … Featured at No. 1 and No. 2 for FGCU … Compiled a 3-9 record at No. 1 and a 6-2 mark at No. 2 … Went 2-4 in conference play … Primarily played alongside Lucas Vaz in doubles, securing 10 wins in 2015-16 … Compiled 61 wins in two seasons at FGCU.
As A Junior (2014-15)
Named to the Atlantic Sun All-Conference First Team … Most Valuable Player of the A-Sun Championship All-Tournament Team … playing No. 2 and No. 3 singles during the season’s dual matches, Ventura went 4-2 in the A-Sun and held and overall record of 14-5 … partnered with Andres Alfonzo, Lucas Vaz and Tianyu Bao to post a record of 16-10 in doubles play and a 2-1 mark in the conference … after dropping his season opener, the junior went on to win seven matches in a row, including triumphs over Bernard Tefel of No. 71 Miami, 6-1, 6-0 and Daniel Bustamente of No. 73 Troy, 6-3, 6-3 … clinched A-Sun Tournament Title with a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Julian Bradley of UNF … overall record of 19-12 for his junior year.
High School and Amateur
Member of the Reial Club de Tennis Barcelona, Ventura trained alongside professional players Kei Nishikori, Tommy Robredo, David Ferrer and Rafael Nadal … over the past few years, Ventura has played in the main draw of twelve ITF Futures tournaments.
