As a Junior (2015)
He would make 20 appearances for the Green and Blue in 2015 with six starts while posting a 6-1 record and a 3.63 ERA. His six victories were tied for the team lead and he was second among FGCU pitchers with 58 punch outs. He also held opponents to a minuscule .216 batting average which was the best among FGCU pitchers that saw at least 10 innings of action. The Newport Beach native picked up his first win in an FGCU uniform on Feb. 25 after tossing 4.0 innings of relief opposite Siena. He made his first start on the road at No. 13 Miami and was brilliant in a complete-game effort allowing just four hits and striking out five while giving up just one run to earn the victory. Desguin would produce four more starts of six innings or more and earned the victory in his only appearance in the Atlantic Sun Tournament opposite Stetson. He threw 2.2 innings of scoreless relief and struck out three to keep the Eagles alive. Desguin became the 24th player in the program's 13-year history to be chosen in the MLB Draft when he was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 36th round of the 2015 Draft.
