Competed during three seasons for the Eagles … he recorded career-best performances his sophomore year at FGCU … finished 31st overall at the UF Mountain Dew Invitational (8k) with a time of 25:59.11 … placed 20th at the A-Sun Conference Championship (8k) with a time of 26:20.92 … clocked in at 32:37.40 at the NCAA South Regional Championship (10k), which was good for a 103rd-place finish and a career-best time.

As A Junior (2015)
Competed in three races this season … finished 23rd at the USF Invitational with a time of 27:30.10 (Oct. 16) … crossed the finish line 26th overall after running a season-best time of 26:35.03 at the A-Sun Championships (Oct. 30) … clocked a 10k time of 34:35.56 and placed 131st at the NCAA South Regional Championships (Nov. 13).

As A Sophomore (2014)
Competed in all six races this season … placed 9th at the Stetson Hatter Invitational with a time of 27:25.28 (Aug. 30) … finished with a time of 26:42.36 at the South Florida Invitational which was good for 13th place (Sept. 5) … finished 31st at the UF Mountain Des Invitational with a time of 25:59.11 (Sept. 20) … placed 155th at the Greater Louisville Classic with a time of 26:05.46 (Oct. 4) … finished with a time of 26:33.74 at the FSU Seminole Invitational which was good for 22nd place (Oct. 10) … finished 20th at the Atlantic Sun Championship with a  time of 26:20.92 (Nov. 1).

As A Freshman (2013)
Competed in all seven races during his rookie season ... placed 10th overall at the Westminster Academy Collegiate Invite 5k (Aug. 31) with a career-best 16:14.10 … placed 65th overall at the UF Mountain Dew Invitational 8k (Sept. 14)  with a time of 26:33.71 … placed 151st at the Roy Griak Invitational (Spet. 28) 8k with a time of 27:10.70 … placed 16th overall and fourth on the team at the FSU Seminole Invitational (Oct. 11) 8k with a career-best 26:22.12 … placed 21st overall at the UCF Black & Gold Invitational (Oct. 18) 8k with a 27:11.83 … placed 31st overall at Atlantic Sun Championships (Nov. 2) with a time of 26:34.81 … placed 124th overall at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships 10k (Nov. 15)  with a career-best 33:04.86.

High School
Attended Sarasota Military Academy but ran cross country for Sarasota High School … holds the Sarasota HS record in the 3,200 meter and distance medley relay … broke the school record in the two-mile, clocking a time of nine minutes and 31 seconds … graduated in the top-3 percent of his class from Sarasota Military Academy.

Personal
Born on Dec. 8, 1994 … nursing major … son of Janine Bernard … nicknamed ‘Court’ … intends to pursue a medical career in graduate school once completing his undergraduate degree … chose FGCU because of the competitive nursing program, beautiful campus and great cross country team and staff.
