JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast clinched a first-round bye and will be the No. 3 seed in the upcoming Atlantic Sun Conference Baseball Tournament, the league office announced Sunday.

The Eagles finished the season second in the Graphite Division with a 34-20 record and a 17-12 mark in ASUN play. FGCU opens tournament play in the single elimination second round and will face the winner of No. 6 seed Central Arkansas (30-25, 17-13) and No. 8 Stetson (23-31, 13-16) on Wednesday, May 20 at 6 p.m. The Bears and the Hatters square off in a single-elimination first-round battle on May 19 at 6 p.m.
FGCU swept Stetson in the regular season, winning all five games against the Hatters with the sixth game canceled due to inclement weather. With no cross-divisional play in the ASUN, the Eagles and Bears did not meet in the regular season. All-time, FGCU is 3-4 against Stetson in ASUN Tournament play and 1-0 against Central Arkansas, defeating the Bears in the 2025 ASUN Tournament.
A win by the Eagles would move FGCU to the double elimination portion of the bracket and a meeting with No. 2 seed Lipscomb (26-24, 19-11), co-champions of the Gold Division. The Bisons tied with North Alabama (28-26, 19-11) for the divisional title but won the tiebreaker over the Lions after winning both regular-season series over UNA.
North Florida (31-22, 22-8) is the No. 1 seed overall, while North Alabama is the No. 4 seed. Jacksonville (31-24, 16-14) is the No. 5 seed and Austin Peay (24-30) is the No. 7 seed.

th time since FGCU joined the ASUN in 2007-08, Stetson is hosting the ASUN Tournament at Melching Field at Conrad Park. Tickets remain on sale for the May 19-23 event in DeLand. General admission tickets begin at $18 per session, while a full tournament pass pricing begins at just $56. Fans can
