Izzy Ackley won the 200 backstroke in a rare tie when she touched the wall at 1:54.87 as Florida Gulf Coast University swimming and diving finishes in second place with 690 points.

"We had a tremendous week in the pool and on the boards," FGCU head coach Dave Rollins said. "The team competed their hearts out and left a forever imprint on our program. Moving up and getting second this year feels like a win. Our program is headed in an incredible direction. We aren't done yet. Postseason competition prep begins now."

Jordan Durocher joined Ackley with a podium finish in the 200 back, finishing at 1:56.70.

The 100 free had three Eagles in the A-Final. Mia Burke finished the highest in fourth place at 50.25. Libby Russum (50.34) and Jasmin Kroll (50.48) placed sixth and eighth respectively in the event.

Three Eagles also competed in the A-Final of the 200 breast with Cassie Bauer narrowly missing out on the podium, finishing fourth with a time of 2:16.10. Allisan Bendall placed seventh (2:18.42), while Rebecca Winn placed eighth (2:18.55).

The final event was the 400 free relay. The team of Alexis Mishler, Kroll, Russum and Burke placed third with a time of 3:23.92.
